my iphone is running 5.0.1 but still not syncing wirelessly to my laptop? What can I possibly do?

Has Wi-Fi sync actually been enabled?
What has been done to troubleshoot the issue?

wifi sync is enabled. as far as i can remember, it synced via wifi twice but not consecutively and did not happen again...
Okay... so let's see if we can get something useful to troubleshoot.
Connect the device to the computer. On the Summary tab, is the option for Sync via Wi-Fi checked?
On the device, go to Settings > General > iTunes Wi-Fi Sync, is the box greyed out? If not, what happens when you select the computer to sync with?
Have you tried Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Connections?
Any errors at any point?
