Will a Touch 4 case fit a Touch 3?

Just got an iPod Touch 3rd Gen. Looking into getting a custom case made, however they only offer the 4th Gen. model case. Will my 3rd Gen fit in a 4th Gen. case?

The iPod 3 is a bit bigger that the 4, so i'm guessing it won't fit. Also, the form factor is very different, and with the case you want it would be impossible
