Windex on keyboard and trackpad
Our house recently burned. My Macbook Pro was in the house, but survived. There was some minor debris and smoke on the top and on the keboard - since the Macbook was left slightly open. No heat or burn damage - just the airborn debris landing on it.
I dampend a cloth with Windex and wiped the top of the Macbook and also the keyboard and the trackpad, to remove the debris and the "smoke" smell.
Was this a bad move? - using Windex? I didn't use Windex on the screen as it didn't need cleaning. Does this damage the keys or trackpad? Is this a bad thing to continue doing?
thanks!
