Dears, I have read and tried the advices but NO WORK ! I have some music purchased on my iPhone ! I have tried to download it in my iPad ! No way ! In iTunes the albums I already have on my iPhone have the tag "Purchased" BUT surprisingly I can't push that buton ! Is just a picture without any action when pushed !!! Please help me !

Is your iPad iTunes logged in with your Apple ID??

Of coarse ! With the same id as on the iPhone ! Else how can iTunes detect if an album is already purchased ?

I think the "problem" is the fact that nowadays iTunes on the iPad would like to place the albums/songs in the cloud. Then it will be available at each device!

When I look at iTunes on my iPad (I did this just for the first time....), you only see iCloud buttons in the "Buyed" section.

Just tested it (I have doubles now on my iPad....) But when you go into the section within iTunes, where you can see your bought albums/songs. Click on the iCloud symbol, and the files will be downloaded to your iPad!

OK 5 steps back!

Are the contents we are talking about visible in your iTunes library?

If so can they be played in iTunes on your Computer?

If your screen on the iPad iTunes looks like this screenshot. All you have to do is press the cloud button and the files get downloaded to the iPad (Just been testing! I had the iPad only sync'd over iTunes)

Dears, my screens look NOTHING like the ones you described !! Please take a look !

See on the last picture the button saying "Purchased" ? Is inactive !! You can see in the first one that is no option to syncronize the music !

Any idea ?

What is your iOS version?

Have you tried sync'ing over a cable iPad connected to computer?

Anyway, screen looks like you have not sync'ed to iTunes on your PC. There should be more buttons on the bottom bar of iTunes on the iPad As you can see on my screenshot).

The iOS version is 5.1.1 - latest ! Indeed I did NOT sync'ed the iPad with the computer because I do not want to mess up my iPhone - work phone - with the iPad - home entertainment dev. - ! I tried over the air / Apple servers ad it did not worked ! I will try to sync it with the computer ! If I will connect it to the coputer... I can download the music direcly and the a.m. discussion will have no point ! Thank you !

It is always better to connect the iPad to the computer first. It has to be enlisted within iTunes, and registered at Apple (automatically). From there on it is possible to do most of the updates and downloads over WiFi!

Have you been succesful???

Mine looks like this as well, but after downloading all the music, the screen looks like this again - with the little clouds, and my music library on the ipad is empty.
