typing stars in iTunes?

Is there anyway to type stars in iTunes? For example, I want to name a smart playlist with stars instead of words. I saw someone do this on a website I visited and could'nt figure it out. Thank you.

Have you tried double clicking on the playlist name and changing it? When you say stars do you mean actual stars or asterisks ** by the way?

Yes I know you can double click and change the playlist name. And I mean actaul stars, like the stars in Wingdings but you cant copy and paste them into the name for some reason. Thats why i asked this question.

Double Click on the playlist to change the name. Go to Edit>Special Characters, you should find something resembling a star in there you can insert. I found this one ☆ under All Characters> Miscellaneous Symbols.

When you said Go to Edit, is that in iTunes or another program? Because I looked in iTunes under Edit and I didnt see anything of what you said. But it sounds like you can actaully do what I talked about. Thats real cool.

Yes, Edit in iTunes. I'm on iTunes for Mac, the functionality on Windows may be different.

Yes, I believe it is different. I am running on Windows XP and the Edit menu is different from what you are explaining to me.

Have a look around and see if you can come across Special Characters in one of the menus, if not, it may be a Mac only thing between iTunes and the OS. Sorry I can't be of any further help.
