How do I stop my Ipad apps from downloading to my iphone?

Whenever I download an application on my ipad, once its done downloading on the ipad, it starts downloading that same app on my iphone. How do I stop this its driving me crazy?

Go to Settings > Store and turn off Apps download to other devices.

On your phone:

Settings/Store, then make sure that under Automatic Downloads, Apps is set to Off. You may also want to change settings for Music and Books.
