TTL

I was reading about how TTL (time to live) update was set from 1 to 24 hours. Is that how you enter the info (i.e. "1", etc.)?

Using the TTL tag does not guaranty one's XML file gets spidered within the described period of time (e.g. sixty minutes). Don't wait passively expecting ITMS to update your XML. After posting your updated XML file ping ITMS to shorten the wait time.

Read the "Adding Episodes" section here to learn about pinging ITMS: http://www.apple.com/itunes/podcasts/techspecs.html.
