Q: Final Cut Server database startup error.

I upgraded to Snow Leopard and after the upgrade I can not access my Final Cut Server. It worked fine before the upgrade. Typical! When I attempt to access the DB from the client application I get "Database is not running, please start up the database server."

When I go to the Systems Preferences for Final Cut Server I get a message, "To use the Final Cut Server preferences pane, System Preferences must quit and reopen". After clicking "OK", I get another message, "There was an error communicating with the server. Database is not running, please start up the database server".

Whe I finally get to the FCS Preferences pane, it shows that the Server is ON, I attempt to recylce it by turning it OFF, then ON and it seems that all the preferences are now BLANK. YIKES.

Any suggestions.

Thanks.
