Bootcamp, windows xp/rundll drawer question

I have windows xp on my mac pro, everything was fine until I had AVG people get on and rid my windows side of a virus. Now when I start up windows xp I get the usuall "RUNDLL window stating an exception occured while trying to run"c:\windows\system32\NvCpl.dll,Nvstartup", but not the window that I believe was named DRAWER, or something that immediatly followed the RUNDLL window. I think the DRAWER window said something like Windows loaded all programs successfuly. The problem is that now when I start up windows it isn't opening adobe programs, or google chrome, it just freezes. How can I get windows to run the DRAWER thing???

You will have to go to the Microsoft support site and ask that question. Just type in the whole warning or at least the last part of it and you should find an answer there.

My only suggestion would be to insert the XP disk and "Repair" the XP partition or running one of the maintenance scripts and see if that helps.

This is mainly on how to install/troubleshoot Apples Boot Camp drivers. Good Luck.... 🙂
