Is there an iBooks app for Android?

Just lost my Ipad due to burglary. Actually it was a present to my wife who primarily used the Ipad to read books through iBooks. Does anyone know if the books I bought through Itunes are playable on a tablet running the Android OS? Is there an iBooks app for Android? Thanks.
