Safari Cannot Connect to Server ...

This issue started four or five months ago. When I Shut Down my computer, then restart, Safari cannot connect to the Server until about two or three hours later.

I can Quit Safari, then restart Safari, and it works just fine, but every time I Shut Down the computer, Safari will not connect to the Server until several hours later.

Anyone else having this same issue ... ???

Is there any hope to fix this problem ... ??? It's very annoying and inconvenient ....

Safari cannot connect to the Server until about two or three hours later.

If you have anti virus software installed, try disabling that to see if it makes a difference.

If you have Little Snitch installed, that can also cause connection issues with Safari.

Using OpenDNS may help. It offers better speed, security, and it's free.

Open System Preferences / Preferences then select the Network tab. Click the Advanced tab then click the DNS tab.

Enter these numbers exactly as you see them here.

Click +

208.67.222.222

Click +

208.67.220.220

Then click OK.
