my music is gone

same thing happened to me i tried to put songs and i deleted all my songs from my ipod! and i still dont know how to put songss, i dont know how i did put songs the first time so 😟 can someone help mee!!

there is no autofill on my itunes why is that

True, but if you copied old records or CDs to your Itunes account, they will be missing. i found a six files listed as Itunes library on my computer with different dates that they were created. Each one gets more and more data added to it. However, when I go to Itunew/file/library/impor and select these files, it won't move them into Itunes

You should have set up an external drive and backed up all your system with Time Macine or cloned it with a copy of CCC. Are you telling me you have not backed up all your important data to another drive in case of a disk failure?

So essentially, if I'm to understand correctly, this is an apple issue and they are not addressing it? So we have to deal with this until then? Continue reuploading all of our songs from our music files?? Sound like it might be easier to get another MP3 Player to me.

This has happened to me and there is no need to worry. All you need to do is go into iTunes on your computer and re-sync all your music.

I got everything wiped from my PC. I blame it all in Apple.

Everything is GONE fromTunes!

I have just updated my ipod touch and have lost everything. I swear I hit back up my information. Is there anyway to find my music?

I still have all playlists on my iPhone, just that they've all disappeared from my Macbook since I updated iTunes. Bloody annoyed, and now I donlt want to risk updating or syncing my phone in case the Mac just wipes the phone too. I will have all files on the time machine, but surely they'll be scrambled now too the same as the laptop?

The tracks are all still there, you can find them by title. They just don't appear in their playlists or by artists. Big, big, **** up by Apple somewhere I think.

Not seeing this on any of my Macs or iPhone. Sure you synced correctly?

My problem is slightly different. After upgrading to 10.7.03, I've had lots of little bugs but yesterday my music refused to play. I selected a song on a playlist and no music. The display just kept rotating through all the songs in the playlist without playing anything. Went to the Genuis folks & they told me to delete music from my iPhone, which I did in the store, and then just resynch the phone with my iMac. Did that, same results. Come on Apple, there has to be a better way. If Steve were still there, heads would roll!

Try starting your own thread instead of thread jumping. Exain you issues there and also give full computer specs and you will get far more help.
