Bonjour on windows vista. First job prints quickly, next takes 2-3 minutes. Fix?

I have Bonjour on a Win dows Vista Pc with an Hp printer connected to an Airport Extreme router. The first job I print comes out very quickly, but subsequent ones take several minutes to start. Any ideas?
