Is there an easy way to generate 13 ASCII character or 26 hex digits for the 128-bit WEP password for the wifi in the MacBook Pro? Is there an online tool for doing that? Or is there some freeware software I can download to generate this?

You should re-Think your choice if WiFi security. WEP is very insecure. WPA or WPA2 is much better.

Thanks Shootist007 I didn't see an option for WPA or WPA2 for creating a wifi network on my MacBook Pro. I only saw WEP.
It's really determined by the setting in your wireles router or wireless access point. Setup WPA or WPA2 in there first. You will need to wire a computer to the router/wap to do this. Then you can go to the wireless setting in the computer.
I personally do all this manually but most new router have what is called WPS, WiFi Protected Setup. I don't care for that so I do it manually. Call me an old fart.
