Other operating systems (AIX) on XServe?

Hi,

Just a matter of academic interest...considering that XServe G5 is based on PowerPC (970) architecture, will it also run other OS (say, AIX) that run on a typical PowerPC?

NC6000 Laptop, Windows XP Pro

I don't believe you can install AIX on an XServe, but you can (try to) install several Linux distributions, including Yellow Dog Linux, a distribution optimized for PowerPC.
