Jun 7, 2012 8:05 AM in response to BarryJDby EdwinRamos,In the outgoing setting, you only put in your user name minus the @me/mac.com,
therefore, if your user name is JohnXXX@me.com, or JohnXXX@mac.com, you would enter JohnXXX.

Jun 20, 2012 5:36 PM in response to BarryJDby karenfromlittle rock,There is no TSL authentication option on outgoing server settings for my (new) Kindle Fire. The only options are:
AUTOMATIC
LOGIN
PLAIN
CRAM_MDS
I've tried all of these and continue to get this message:
"We were unable to verify the provider's certificate. Would you like to accept the certificate or decline and try again?"
When I press "Accept" it just comes back with the same message over and over again, until I press "Reject" and it takes me back to the screen.
Thanks for any help!

Jul 4, 2012 10:22 AM in response to karenfromlittle rockby t.a.west,The TLS setting is under "security type," not "authentication type." My settings look like this (and works):
smtp.me.com
TLS (always)
587
check (for required sign in)
automatic

[password]
Good luck!
