Why does my ipod generation 2 say when I open my email app "Cannot Get Mail" "No password provided for"carolina.rr.com".

Have you went ot Settings>Mail...>the carolina.rr.com mail accunt and reenter the password for that account.
It would say that because you have no password for your account in Settings.
Go to:
Settings>Mail, Contacts,Calenders>[your account] then next to "Password" enter your password.
Thanks, I tried that but it still didn't work. So I tried deleting the account and setting it back up. Now it says IMAP or POP error. I don't know what that is and I don't understand it on google. I don't know what to do.
Try reentering the password or resetting the password at your service provider's website.

Okay so I didn't understand what to do on my gmail account. So I finished setting up the gmail account on the ipod and it said it verified it. So then when I went to the email app it said no password even though I put when in there. When I went back to the settings it wasn't there so I typed it in and it came back up IMAP error. "The IMAP server " imap.gmail.com" is not responding. Check your network connection and that you entered the correct information in the "Incoming Mail Server" field."
Remove the gmail account and add it again.
After I did that it said after you hit next it says. " Cannot Connect Using SSL Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL?
Say yes.
I did that and now it says the pop server is not responding. 😟
Remove Gmail then do these steps:

😟 I am so sad/mad. I don't know why but I actually use my ipod more than my phone. So I was on it today this afternoon and I dropped in my dogs water fall thingy. Well, I froze up for like 3 seconds in shock and then quickly took it out. When I took it out I pressed the lock button on top. The screen was darker than it even will let you dim it to. So then I kept turning it off and on untill it turned back to normal brightness. I dried it off and took a piece of bread to it it helped make the home button work but the only thing that works is the home button and the lock button. The screen responds to nothing at alllll.... I am so sad it has a lot of my stuff on it. I can't turn it off because I cant slide to turn off after holding the button down. I stuck it into some rice in a ziplock bag. I don't know what to do. Pleeeeaaasssee Hellp MMeee it's refraining me from doing important things for school. Thanks
Change the rice daily for a week and see what happens after charging and possibly restoring the iPod.
