Can't Print Target Coupons - Java Update Error Message

I have been trying to print Target Coupons from their web site but I continue to get the following error message:

User uploaded file

"You will need the latest Java Runtime Environment to print our coupsons. Would you like to update now?"

It doesn't matter what Mac I use or what browser I use on any of my Macs (MacBook Pro 15", MacBook Pro 17", iMac 27"). I have the most updated Java installed that's available from Apple. Anyone have any solutions?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

I think you need this. The problem is on Target's end in not testing their coupon applet with the Mac. Send them a nasty note.

Now, on another note. Where did you get a few of those cool menu bar additions? I especially like the memory status and weather. I just never got into the Dashboard, and would love to know where you found those things.

I got the menu bar apps from the App Store. The weather is called MenuWeather and there is a lite version and one for $.99. I love it because it has so much info in it including warnings, etc. The memory is called FreeMemory and it's also free. It's very easy to use and just helps maximize your memory. The App Store has so many great little apps like these.

If you look at the screen shot you provided you'll see a link on the white page in the background for Install Plugin. The problem is your java applet plugin is not turned on in the chrom browser. When you get the java notice click cancel to ignor it then click that link on the white page. It will activate the plugin. You'll have to restart your browser but the coupon print should work after that.

A note: When I fixed this on my wife's machin she had not setup her printer, which if not done will redirect you to a target apology page because you don't have the proper printer to print coupons (because we are silly and didn't set the printer yet)

Hope this helps.
