Can you go INVISIBLE with iChat??

When you use AIM from AOL, you can click on the eyeball in the top left corner of your buddy list and go invisible...that way all buddies think you are not on-line but you really are, and can send IMs to whomever you choose and receive IMs from anyone who knows you are really on-line...you can see the status of all buddies on your list...basically it just allows you to IM whomever you want without getting too many when you are trying to get work done. Is there a feature on iChat that would allow my buddies to think I am offline when I am really on-line?
