How can a pc computer open a movie I made on an iPad 2 and sent via email on the iPad

I made the short less than 10 second video on an ipad 2 running 4.3.3 I sent it via email from the ipad to my cousin that has a pc computer. She cannot open it the video. I sent it to myself and can open it on my imac. I sent it to a friend that can open it on a pc. If my cousin downloads Quicktime will that allow her to open the video? Thanks
