How do I conect my iPhone to my lexmark s300 series printer

I have a Lexmark printer I got with my MacBook pro which prints to the printer fine but the trouble is I can't print from my iPhone any suggestions?

iPhone 3GS, iOS 5.0.1, Also how to connect 4s as well

iOS devices only print to AirPrint enabled printers. You can purchase a 3rd party application like Printopia if you want to add this functionality to non-AirPrint enabled printers.
