Apparently I need to lock my mac mail to keep others from opening it. But I do not know how. Can anyone help or do I just have to hide it somehow. It is in my dock and very easy to click on. Can I password protect it somehow, or is there something easier?
And actually, how do I lock folders and other things on my computer? I have a macbook.

Well I'm trying to avoid password protecting the whole thing since some people need access to some stuff. I just don't want people digging through my mail. Can I just lock the mail somehow? And can I lock certain folders?

Password protect the Mac Mail app is useless, and would not prevent access to your mailboxes. Your email is stored in files under your home folder, so you must password your mail folder.
