My iPhone 4s shows "0 bytes available". I know this is not right. What do I do? What is the problem? I can't download anything or even take a picture. This is a massive problem.

Bump. Had the same thing happen to my wife's phone. Happened right after updating. The pain says 6.38 GB Photos, 180.4 Aps, and 7.32 GB Other. What is the "other?"
This is what "other"is
http://www.maclife.com/article/howtos/how_remove_other_data_your_iphone
Thanks for the response, but under "Storage" it says "0 bytes available", "13.6 GB Used", and the only apps it mentions are "Photos & Camera 6.4 GB", "Music No Data", and "Videos No Data". It doesn't add up...
But you have 7 GB of "other" that is way high and might be why you have no space left
I agree but don't understand where/what it is or how to get rid of it
It is all explained in the link I gave in my first response to you
Based on what I've read there may be some corruption in your files because the Other section is way too large. You'd probably have to restore your device to solve that. Of course I might be wrong but that's what I found searching the topic.
@Ocean There is only 1 app that the storage menu notes using any memory: Photos & Camera. However, it is only using 6 GB. The other 2 apps, Music and Videos, are not using memory, i.e. there is no music or videos on the phone.
@Ferretbite I tried restoring but reloaded the phone with a sync that took place before/during the update. It probably just reloaded the same corrupt files/settings?
From the link I sent you you will see that "other"is not just the 2 apps Music and video you mention. As Ferretbite says there could be some corrupt files and that is why other is so large restoring from a backup just puts all the cuorrupt data back. This what the aticle says about what "other"might be:
With an iOS device, the “Other” space in iTunes is used to store things like documents, settings, caches, and a few other important items. If you sync lots of documents to apps like GoodReader, DropCopy, or anything else that reads external files, your storage use can skyrocket. With iOS 5, you can see exactly which applications are taking up the most space. Just head to Settings > General > Usage, and tap the button labeled Show All Apps. The storage section will show you the app and how much storage space it is taking up. Tap on the app name to get a description of the additional storage space being used by the app’s documents and data. You can remove the storage-hogging application and all of its data directly from this screen, or manually remove the data by opening the app. Some applications, especially those designed by Apple, will allow you to remove stored data by swiping from left to right on the item to reveal a Delete button.
Yeah you should probably restore your phone as a new device and reinstall the apps you want/need. It's a bit of a hassle but more effective than removing one app at a time to find the one that's eating up your storage space.
That's was I was thinking. Thanks
