iPhone 4S charging ridiculously fast?

The battery life of my iPhone 4s has never been great, and none of the fixes have worked for me.

However, I just recently noticed my iPhone charges ridiculously fast. I'm talking about 0%-to-75%-in-less-than-an-hour kind of fast.

On average, the phone's completely charged in about 80 minutes! I never noticed this before, and was wondering if this has anything to do with the rather poor battery life?

Then it sounds like you might be the one that should have your phone checked? 🙂

Seriously, though, are you talking full charge? and from what starting point?

From fully-discharged, an iPhone should take about an hour and a half get to 80% full (in line with the original poster's experience). That last 20%, though, may take another two hours on its own, thanks to the nature of the battery charging technology. That's in line with your experience, so everyone might be on track, you're just looking at different metrics (75% full vs. fully charged).
