Problems sending iMessage

I can't send a message in iMessage, but if I enclose a photo it works! What can I do about it?

iPad 2, iOS 5.0.1

wow, that's a new one. Never heard of but I am sure something can be figured out.

Did you try to send the picture to the same person than the one where you wanted to send text to?

Where you connected on the internet in both instances?

Is the "send" button grey or you get a red exclam?

It could be that you're writing the text in the subject line (the first line) while you should write it on the second line.

I have tried to write in both lines. In the same message it is ok to send including a picture, but not just text. The button is blue, but dimmed. When I include a picure the button turnes blue. Both were connected ti the internet.

This problem started just a few days ago, before it has worked ok.

Hmm... alright.

At this point, I would do a good-old reset by presseing the Home and Sleep Button together for 15sec, then start your iPad again.

Excactly my thought... After last time I wrote here I first resetted the application, then I restarted the iPad. After that I tried again, and YES! Now it works! Thank you for trying to help!
