Maybe we need more details here.


But note: Power PC applications are not supported in the latest OS (Lion, 10.7) - they will not run. In Lion they have No Entry icons on them.


Are you saying that when you bring your old applications (photoshop, etc.) to your new computer they get the no entry sign? If so, you will need to update your software to be compatible with Lion.

Are these icons in the dock with the no entry sign over them? If so that means the icon remains but the application it points to have been removed. You will need to re-install them. Dock icons are not the applications themselves, but just pointers or aliases to the application which is stored in the Applications folder.
