I have enjoyed the Watch ESPN app for a while now, all of a sudden no audio. Video works great. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, all other similiar work just fine, netflix, youtube, etc, is there some switch my young daughter may have switched. Why no audio?

Try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.
My iPad side switch was set to control screen orientation. When I changed it to the mute function and flipped the switch it solved the no audio from the WatchESPN app problem. I then set it back to control orientation again and the audio was still working. Hope this helps (and that it keeps working). The solution came from a discussion thread about another app sound problem.
This solved my no sound issue as well.
This just started happening to me also it would have great audio on espn then nothing picture was good and I still got audio on every other app on my iPad it was just espn had no audio anymore
I reinstalled also and nothing I check the button everyone tals about that mutes everything but nope...still great pic no audio
The bam I remembered that I had just previously watched the playoffs on the espn app and I had used an aux cable to hook iPad to my boom box so I could get louder audio and was great
So I after much tying to figure it out....I still had the no Audio prob I hooked it back that way and sure enough SOUND
So something with the app itself has for whatever reason made it mpossible for me to use espn audio through the iPad itself I have to hook back to boom box for my audio needs.....ESPN if your reading this fix that,.......I hope this helps someone because I was slots for days no audio
