Is StreamRipperX legitimate and OK to use?

I got the email below from a friend. Can anyone here verify that this program works and causes no problems? I would like to download songs as MP3 files and them put them into my iTunes. — Lorna in Southern California

StreamRipper X ( not free). Its just fantastic and
only getting better.

Dear Kay and Axxil,
Thank you very much for your replies! I now feel better about giving StreamRipper X a try. My purpose for using this is that is that I want to put the MP3 files into iTunes so that I can use them in my little iMovies.

Axxil, I will tell me friend about RadioLover. 🙂
