my search feature on my iphone 4s is not working, I search for contacts from my address book and nothing comes up yet when I go into my address book all the contacts that I have looked for on my search feature are there. Does anyone know how to resolve this

Try a Reset...
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.
becarefully write down the same name on the search area
which u add on the contact address book
other wise reset your mobile

2.go to setting>general>reset> and reaset all setting
it should be delete your all stuff like music data pic and contact but resolve your problem make sure save your contact before to reset your mobile😎
I have the same problem but the strange thing is that contacts who are synced with facebook or have a facebook picture (little f on picture) do get found but the ones that are just from iCloud do not get found in a search. So when I type 'a' for instance, it shows the results of people with 'a' in the name but only the ones I connected to facebook.
How can I let the find work in all my contacts again?
I have another slightly similar problem:
When I type in a Christian Name and search on my iPhone 4S AND when the result is longer that the screen of the iPhone the list won't "roll". The results stay on the first "screen page". On trying to push up the list and if I manage to hold it in place anything further down than the first screen page won't accept being pressed on to make a call. Generally I can't even manage to hold the screen page beyond the first one as it bounces back to the first screen page.
This doesn't happen often as I suppose I don't request so many searches that are over a screen page long. The main problem is that sometimes I can't remember how I entered the person, with his surname, what he does (eg. fridge tech.) or whatever.
Does anyone have any ideas?
