MBP: Wrist rest - 'Black dots'

Hello all!

I'm having a 'ugly' issue with my Macbook Pro.

It is now about 3 months old, and there are 'black dots' on the wrist rest.

Actually it seems like the Aluminium around there is oxidizing. These black dots are little irregularities on the case.

It's quite annoying, because the MBP is losing it's good look this way.

This is the 2nd Macbook Pro where i have this issue - Years ago I was told the material was maybe corrupted.

But now this is happening again, why? The MBP is very expensive, I don't want to send it back, specially because it is only 3 months old.

Also I need it for working, and a repair never took less then 1 week.

Does anyone else have such an issue? Or maybe an idea why this is happening?

Best regards

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

Thanks for your answer - well I always tried to be as carefull as possible - since a MBP is an expensive device, you dont want to get it damaged or anything.

I guess the solution is to use some wrist protection, like http://store.apple.com/us/product/TW022LL/A?fnode=MTY1NDA2Nw&s=topSellers

But actually I am not very satisfied with using such 'stickers' to protect my MBP. It's just not looking the same with such a thing.
