Podcast itunes:image tag referenced but no image appears in iTunes?

Hi All,



I have read many post on the topic but can't seem to find an answer to the problem...



I submitted a Podcast feed to Apple and it was accepted.

When I submitted the feed I could see all my info and the podcast image appeared correctly (itunes:image tag).



Now that the feed has been accepted I can't see the picture anymore in iTunes? I see the default Podcast iTunes image.

The image respect the Apple requirements and is 600 x 600 pixels.



Can anyone help ?

Could it be that iTunes / Apple needs some time to process the image? Podcast was accepted less than 24 hours ago.

iTunes caches the image, to save reading it off the server every time someone looks at the Store page, but can take some days before it appears in the Store. I can't give you an exact timing, but I wouldn't be surprised at 7-10 days. The feed and the image are OK, so it's just a question of waiting.


When you add new episodes to your feed they will appear immediately for subscribers but will usually take 1-2 days to appear in the Store - again, due to cacheing, this time of the feed itself.
