I have a question about the Airport Express: on the faq it says that you can connect an external USB HD (AirDisk), and then access your files trough the network. is that correct? (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1515?viewlocale=en_US#16-nl) It is not enlisted as a property on the website (apple Belgium).
How much bandwidth does it use to stream for example 1 hour music (mp3)? (as my bandwith is not unlimited)
There is a mistake somewhere. Did you also read this document that is referenced in the FAQ?

On average, streaming audio will require about 1 Mbps

If the FAQ says that the AirPort Express can support a hard drive, then that is a mistake or a misprint.
thanks for the answers, I will wait untill Apple releases an airport that supports Airplay and Airdrive. And that does not use my internet-bandwith but my local network. 🙂
