I can't remember my password to iCloud

I changed my password to my Apple ID, I've followed through Apple how to reset the password multiple times. I tried my new password out in iTunes and it worked but it's not working for iCloud. I used my original password and it was rejected put the new password in and it accepted it and the amount of spaces of my password still shows my old password and I can't understand why.
