Should i buy Mac pro in this month? or wait for some time for new models coming new year ? i want to buy Mac for 3d please suggest if i should go for it ..

No one on here knows when Apple will release any new hardware so if it is imporant to you to have the new Mac Pro you should start looking into it and buy when you are ready.
Frankly, if you're doing 3D work most of the cost is going to be in the video card. You may want to consider getting an older Mac Pro (last years model or 2009) and a good video card (FX series?). Just my 2 cents.

If you read the specifications for the Mac Pro, the video card can be changed for higher level if you need that for more graphic intensive work.
You can often find refurbished units for sale by Apple which are covered by the same warranty as a new unit and have been fully tested by the Apple techs.
As Ralph pointed out, you can get older models from Apple for a noticeable discount. If you do end up going with a third party vendor, be sure the unit you get is still covered by Apple Care.

The 2010 2.8 4-core use to always be listed and $2119.. now, just 2009 models.
The 2.8 could put your own W3680 6-core/3.33 in for just $620 (sell the 2.8 to help pay for RAM or SSD).
Wow. that's nice deal..where can i ask for upgrade ?? does apple provide custom upgrades?? or do i have to do it manually.? cause i dont think there will be apple care plan for manually added hardware..
One more thing to keep in mind. The new Xeon processors in the Mac Pros have the memory controller on the CPU. This means that the amount of memory you can put in a system is directly tied to the number of CPUs you have. Thus a single processor system is limited to four memory modules while the dual processor configurations can take up to eight. 3D rendering can be very memory intensive so be sure you get a system that will support your needs.
That is an important point Kujako makes...be sure and research the unit carefully and ask questions on here for assistance...always someone here willing to give advice.

YOU have to do it for those prices.
Apple Care will continue to cover the system if you add in a graphics card post sale. However the coverage will not be extended to cover the card itself.
kajuko , does "ATI 100-505602 FirePro V9800 4GB 256-bit GDDR5" will work with macosx ? or any NVIDIA quodro series card?
I would purchase now.
The current models are capable of running Snow Leopard. Future models will lock you into lion.
