my IPOD touch does not play music continuously. It stops and I have to shut off the IPOD wait a few minutes and then turn it on and start the music again.

I just bought a new IPOD touch. When I play music the music just stops after one or two songs. I have reset it I have taken the music off the Ipod and put it back on with the same results. AND THE album covers does not match some of the music that is playing. WHY is that? How can it be fixed without doing a full restore where I will lose all my apps, music, photos, etc.

Do those songs you are trying to play on the iPod play on your computer?

Yes all songs play on the computer. THey even play on my IPOD Classic. I have spent more time trying to fix this problem that it may be worth. If I cannot fix it, I may have to return it. This is so frustrating. I work from home and my ipod is my source of musical entertainment.

You could always return the iPod but either way you will have to backup your iPod first. If you backup the iPod you could restore it (reset it), most likely fix the problem, then put all of your app data, game saves, and music right back on the iPod. It's all up to your opinion though.
