what if i would like to show more then the 50?

is there a workaround for this?

what happens to the entries moved to the archive can users still download them from my itunes podcast?

hi,

thx for your idea!

that would be a way, but i would really like to have more then 50 on the blog.

i checked in iweb in the content package to manipulate the software a bit, but i could not find the place where

the number 50 is set.

i figured the archive runs all.

would it be possible just to submit the feed of the archive to the itunes store.

the page is not used as a podcast page, it should just ensure all podcasts will be shown in the itunes store.

hope you get my idea. looking at what i got and will have in the future it will be a couple of hundrets.

also, as the rumor says iweb will be done soon...

do you have any recommendation for a similar software, where i could import what i already have.

have you worked with flux or sandvox.

thx for your help!!!

It's now confirmed that iWeb and iDVD have been discontinued by Apple. This is evidenced by the fact that new Macs are shipping with iLife 11 installed but without iWeb and iDVD.

On June 30, 2012 MobileMe will be shutdown. HOWEVER, iWeb will still continue to work but without the following:

Features No Longer Available Once MobileMe is Discontinued:

◼ Password protection

◼ Blog and photo comments

◼ Blog search

◼ Hit counter

◼ MobileMe Gallery

All of these features can be replaced with 3rd party options.

I found that if I published my site to a folder on my hard drive and then uploaded with a 3rd party FTP client subscriptions to slideshows and the RSS feed were broken. If I published directly from iWeb to the FPT server those two features continued to work correctly.

There's another problem and that's with iWeb's popup slideshows. Once the MMe servers are no longer online the popup slideshow buttons will not display their images.

However, Roddy McKay and I have figured out a way to modify existing sites with those slideshows and iWeb itself so that those images will display as expected once MobileMe servers are gone. How to is described in this tutorial: #26 - How to Modify iWeb So Popup Slideshows Will Work After MobileMe is Discontinued.

In addition the iLife suite of applications offered on disc is now a discontinued product and the remaining supported iApps will only be available thru the App Store from now on.

HOWEVER, the iLife 11 boxed version that is still currently available at the online Apple Store (Store button at the top of the page) and those copies still on the shelves of retailers will include iWeb and iDVD.

This may be of some interest to you: Life After MobileMe.

For what it's worth I've started using Flux and find it pretty good. There's drag and drop capability but you should have a little HTML knowledge. It's the closest to iWeb of any I've tried. But still not as easy as iWeb which should be good for some time yet.

perhaps hacking masters of this forum will point you the way.

the page is not used as a podcast page, it should just ensure all podcasts will be shown in the itunes store.

then you should try to submit your podcast rss.xml to itunes store. rss.xml should have all podcast entries.

open your online podcast page with safari and click the rss button to get your rss url.

not really, iweb works with SL and (somewhat) lion, so all you need to do is to build a multi-boot system.

that is building a bootable partition or external hd with SL or lion os and your fav iweb version in it.

then you can always boot from that partition/hd to use iweb in the future.

for those whose jump ship or attemp/intend... are those don't know iweb and/or don't know how to work their computers.

iweb has a lot left for me... especially when i can build my own widgets.

max number of podcast entries 50?
