Hi my macmini with Lionserver has the following problem:
when I want to acces webmail it gives the following error:
DATABASE ERROR: CONNECTION FAILED!
Unable to connect to the database!
Please contact your server-administrator.
IMAP mail works fine (Iphone or Imac). Also the Ical website nore the Wiki website works.
Anny surgestions?

I'm having the same problem with a virtually brand-new install of Lion Server. I've tried all the generic Roundcube fixes I could find (confirm postgres is running, check firewall, permissions on pgsql_socket, etc) and the problem persists. I haven't been able to find any error/log messages to indicate why the database connection is failing.
So, here is another "me too" message, hoping someone can shed light on the problem.

Hi, I'v experienced same problems...
Rouncdube is not able to authenticate against IMAP server but server mail work very well.
... Lion Server 10.7.3
I have given up, made a clean install but i'm no longer using the server and went back to ExchangeðŸ˜
I found an answare on this forum: a config file of roundcube to modify...

Im having the same problem, Im not going to giveup, without people like us, Apple Cant better the product, they need our support and we need their support also.
Im facing the same problem.
For sure Apple will solve this issue, but time may be the only constraint, may be a service pack will address this issue without opening backdoors like other operating systems?!!

How did you fix it? In the roundcube config file there are several smtp host variables, did you change them?
My overall issue too
All of /var had its permissions set to Read only it seems :-/
Anyone have a panacea for that one?
