Troubles with syncing iPod

Hello everyone.

I just bought a brand new iPhone and lately I have been uploading all of my iTunes music, apps, etc. onto this device. I was also about to upload all of my pictures from my laptop. Unfortunately, my laptop crashed before I had the chance to upload the pictures. Also, since my laptop crashed, all of my pictures that were saved to the computer (over 3,000), have been lost.

As you would expect, I was devastated, until I realized that 1,000 pictures had been upoaded to my iPod Nano 4th Generation years ago. I was wondering if anyone knew a way that I could convert these photos from my iPod photo database onto my computer, so that I would be able to then sync them from my computer onto my iPhone.
