i am with att. does anyone know if the imessage is tracable on your phone bill. i didnt think it was because it is through wifi, but what if your wifi is not on and your using 3g instead are they traceable? just curious!

iMessage is not "through wifi", it works via the data connection... so Wi-Fi or Cellular data works.
No, any messages sent via iMessage are not "traceable" on the bill beyond the fact that data was used.
If it reverts to SMS, then yes, it will show up specifically on the bill.
if your text goes through as an SMS rather than iMessage, it will be on your bill.
