Windows 7 Driver Crash ATI 6490M

This has recently started happening for me but sometimes the graphics card driver would crash while I'm watching a video, and I the screen would become all messed up. Is this something I should go to the geius bar about? After the first time the graphics driver crashed I tried to get the latest version of the catalyst control panel program, but after that it just crashed on me again. I have the early 2011 model which has the intel 3000 HD and the ATI 6490m I believe.

By the way could this be a hardware problem?

Macbook Pro (Early 2011), Mac OS X (10.6.8)

As a follow up to this post I took out the default boot camp drivers for the ATI card and I downloaded the newest catalyst/drivers and installed them. Haven't had any problems since.
