I am trying to connect my new Tata photon + with Mac OS X lion. Its a Huwaei EC 156 modem. I tried downloading the latest drivers and dialer from the tata photon site and it is still not working.
Can anyone help?
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.2)
Have got it fixed.
Used Mac Network and modem to configure.
Steps
1. Added Huwaei modem in Mac OS X Lion under 'Network section'
2. Set up modem as follows:
- Dail Number - #777
- User name - internet
- Password - internet
Let the configuration be default.
Click connect
It worked for me. Hope it will work for you guys also.🙂
Tata Docomo support folks are really dumb. I called them about this problem and they said that Huaawei dongle is not supported on Mac OS X Lion. Their solution was that I had to buy some other provider'd dongle. Anyways, thanks pskchatti for the solution. Worked fine for me.
