Have a windos usung Quick Time and friends sending videos to me that are sideways and upside down. Any way to flip while watching from Quick Time.
Some are from a MAC computer and can not turn them to watch them the right way. How do i do this thanks.

Just fyi, on a mac you shouldn't have any problems.
Try to use iMovie and select the cutting menu point
If you recorded something with QuickTime, you can also rotate it, selecting the
edit section and select the orientation you want to rotate to!
You can only rotate videos on the Mac version of QuickTime X.
Try using VLC Media Player, I think that is can rotate videos.

Unfortunately, to rotate videos in the QuickTime Player on a Windows system, you'd need to have QuickTime Pro.
If you have Pro, open the file in your QuickTime Player.
Now go "Window > Show Movie Properties" (You only get that option in Pro on a Windows system.)
Select the Video track and click the "Visual Settings" tab. You'll see the rotate and flip controls for the video in there.

I have purchased Quicktime Pro and when I use the rotate button under Show Video Properties-Visual Settings, the viewing screen rotates from portrait to landscape but the video itself does not rotate. Any suggestions as I have a lot of unusable video which I want to pull into my video editor.
BTW, my Studio 15 which is a fairly high-end software has successfully rotated previous videos shot with my wifes I-Phone 4 but on these video clips, the rotation works but then does not play. I wonder if it was some setting or problem with my wife's Iphone?
Have quick time on windows 7 and can not rotate or flip the video sent to me from friends any help on this thanks.
