I have scanned a document and the scan of the original looks fine, but when I email it as an attachment, to myself even, it is not readable. the resolution is lost ! what can I do about this?

I am sure that it is changed somehow during the process of sending it. I guess my service does that. i found that if I saved it adn sent it as a pdf then it was ok, but the pdf file was much bigger than the original file so it took my system time to send it.
but wow!!! I just compressed it as a zip file and it worked like a charm thank you so much Baltwo!!!!!!!!!!! the compresion reduced the size only a little but the sent document came back perfectly!!!
Compress it.
if you're using google mail, don't click the preview click download. look to see if your service is compressing your images.
