A friend of mine received an iPad 2 for Christmas. I am trying to help her setup her iMessage account. I created an Apple ID using her email address. When I go to iMessage through Settings to activate it, it tells me "The user name or password for ______@________. com was incorrect. Try again." I tried creating a new account again, using the same info, thinking it didn't save at first, but receive another message stating it's already in use (because I just created it).


Any suggestions? Thanks!
