If you activated the built-in guest account, then all files in the home folder were deleted when you logged out. There's no way to get them back, short of a full-scale recovery operation.

As Linc points out, the guest user account does not have a long-term file store. Any files are deleted when you log out. That is because the guest account is meant only for temporary use by someone who is not a regular user of the machine and should not be leaving litter to clutter up the hard drive. Don't try to use it for anything more than that in the future.

As to file recovery, see Recovering deleted files.
