Access User Library from Old Time Machine Backup

Hi

I want to recover a mailbox from a time machine backup. The time machine backup is on a USB drive. It was made from the same computer but I have since performed an erase and install of Lion. I can navigate to the latest backup > Macintosh HD > Users > [user name]. But I can't see the the User Library?

I've enabled root user to see if it might display while in the root user but still no library in the user folder. The only thing I'd like to recover from this time machine backup is a mailbox or two.

Any ideas?

Hi Pondini,

Sorry if I miss something: This simple set of keys was very promising, but it only sends you back to the user's library on the computer, unfortunately not on the backup. Thank you anyway, but any other idea on how to access the Library (and why does Apple have to make our lives so complicated with this recurring issue)?
