ipad "other" disk usage

So I have an Apple iPad2 32g version currently running iOS 5.0.1. I plugged it into my PC today to sync up some movies and I noticed that at the bottom where it shows the breakdown of what is on the memory, the section labeled as "Other" had about 6.5 Gigs worth of data on it. Now when you have a 32 gig storage, thats a lot of data being taken up. How do I find out what this "other" data is and how do i get rid of it??
