New Mac user. Is there a way I can use my Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000?

Just got my first Mac- the Mac Mini. Is there a way I can use my Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000? All driver downloads I find are for Microsoft operating systems.

Mac mini, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

I'm not sure about the VX-3000.

I'm using the VX-5000 on my old Sawtooth (PowerPC) G4, and didn't bother with any drivers at all. And since my Mac has only OSXv10.5.8 it seems logical that yours should work right out of the box.

Only caveat is that I must have iChat open -- and Video Preview active -- for the camera to work. There's a little blue light on the camera that lights up when the webcam is active.

If the device shows up in your system profiler then it ought to work.

My only complaint is that ColorSync doesn't see the device, so I can't profile it. (If anyone has any suggestions to fix that one I'm all ears.)
