search contacts windows

Now that I am using iCloud, all of the contact records show up on the Contacts "page" in the iCloud - Contacts section which is ok but it seems when I new create new contacts the contact information is not findable via the usual Windows7 search tool. Normally to look up a contact I click on the round Windows 7 button, lower left and then type the name of the contact.

Any suggestions?
