Storing and editing email attachments

Is it possible to store email attachments (specifically MS Office docs) ? And if so where does it store them ? I want to get the Quickoffice Pro App but first need to make sure I can move files to my new IPAD 2. Thanks.

You can store/transfer email attachments, but first you need an app on the iPad that supports the type of file that you want to store - unlike a 'normal' computer the iPad doesn't have a file system, and everything on it has to be associated with an app. So if you get the QuickOffice Pro app you should be able to use the iPad's 'open in' functionality in the Mail app to transfer the MS document attachments to it.
